    Activities

    HSE

    • Ensure that all operational activities undertaken comply with relevant Company directives and are in accordance with safety rules, safety memos and operational manuals.
    • Ensure that the implementation of health, environment and safety policy is undertaken by all subcontractors on board the vessel.
    • Active participation in the preparation and analysis of the work (RLO, Risk assessment, Simops Dossiers), while maintaining the
      HSE rules of the group.
    • Ensure that the
      HSE rules are respected by giving example and professionalism.
    • Report anomalies, near misses, incident, dangerous occurrences, and other information to the Safety Department.
    • Participate in safety tours, audits, SQM and follow up respective action plans.
    • Ensure the validity of his
      HSE certificates and those of subordinated personnel at Site (Medical Certificate, BST, HUET).

    As the Night Shift Supervisor:

    • Assist RSES/Offshore Manager managing Contractors and lead all operational activities mainly based on sub-sea interventions performed by ROV's, including deck preparations, heavy lifting and vessel deployment, based on TEPA requirements and interests.
    • Ensure that all lifting appliances are in accordance with company requirements.
    • Coordinate the different corporations involved in the achievement of the sub-sea works. ie, Marine, ROV, Survey, SPS technicians, Riggers, crane operators, as well as any other specialists required for specific intervention. Maintain good team spirit, cohesion, and complete understanding of the role of everyone in the task being performed.
    • Organize the logistics of the FSV in coordination with the onshore base and the field logistical support.
    • Review all operational documentation (SIMOPS, COMOPS, Task Plans, Risk Assessments) and liaise with the dedicated entities for proper implementation.
    • Guarantee good performance of the activities in compliance with the operational procedures and project documentation approved by Company.
    • Check and approve Company and contractors supplied equipment necessary for the execution of the works.
    • Act as a Shift Leader by leading and organizing frequent TBTs and Shift Handover Meetings to fully brief the Vessel Crew, ROV Crew and any other relevant parties prior to an operation.
    • Be fully in charge of the operation during the shift and take the control as a performing authority of the PTW and FDL in place, fully liaising with the counterparty (FPSO, RIG, ...) in order to conduct the operation within pre-defined operational and safety standards;
    • Assist RSES/Offshore Manager with the OPERATIONAL and SAFETY data collection along daily operations in order to provide inputs for the REX and Lessons Learnt.
    • Assist RSES/Offshore Manager with the daily deliverables (DPR, Follow-up Activities, Operational Reports );
    • Check and advise on Contractors conformance all along operations.
    • Assist RSES/Offshore Manager and FSV Superintendent in all specific queries from Company specialists, make sure they are in line with reference document and specifications.
    • As a Night Company Representative, must be ready to partially take over RSES/Offshore manager operational responsibilities during the night Shift.
    • In case of unplanned/sudden RSES/Offshore Manager unavailability, must be ready to fully take over temporarily the RSES/Offshore Manager operational responsibilities.
    • Provide tutoring to field engineer, junior shift supervisors and evaluate their performance.
    Context et environment

    • Highly technical and challenging deepwater environment offshore Angola and Block 17/32, where subsea interventions are being performed on a 24/7 basis, using a DP2/DP3 field support vessel equipped with a heavy lift SUBSEA crane and two Remote Operated Vehicles.
    • Management of multiple interfaces.
    • Rotations offshore Angola, 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
    Finalities

    • Guarantee good performance of works in compliance with procedures, safety & environment criteria, while optimizing costs and lead times.
    • Ensure a technical auditing function over service providers and construction personnel Required Profile
    • Education: Graduated engineer (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum) or experienced Offshore Shift Supervisor.
    • Experience: At least 5 years' Experience in offshore construction and installation, among them several years in a contractor company (engineering, offshore operation, offshore project engineer). Experience in marine operations, in subsea works & vessel management preferably offshore, in project management and site representative.

    • English language must be well spoken/written. Portuguese and French would be a plus.
    • Leadership and pro‐activeness.
    • Multi-cultural and working under pressure.
