Objectives:

• Execute the production strategy outlined in the 2024 company objectives map for PVC/HDPE manufacturing, aligning activities with overall business objectives.
• Assume primary responsibility for achieving production targets, optimizing equipment efficiency (OEE), and controlling expenses within the PVC/HDPE production process.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and corporate requirements specific to PVC/HDPE manufacturing.
• Drive initiatives to enhance health and safety standards within the PVC/HDPE production department.
• Provide leadership and strategic guidance to ensure the success and efficiency of PVC/HDPE manufacturing operations in line with the 2024 strategy and objectives map.
• Report on production matters promptly and accurately, following prescribed formats.

Actions:

• Implement the production strategy set forth by upper management, focusing on achieving targets and adapting processes for growth or realignment as needed.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize customer satisfaction, both internally and externally, within the PVC/HDPE manufacturing process.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics, taking corrective actions when targets are not met to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Manage expenditure within the PVC/HDPE production department, maximizing cash flow through effective working capital controls.
• Drive improvements in plant efficiency, waste reduction, and quality assurance practices within PVC/HDPE manufacturing.
• Uphold legal, statutory, and corporate governance requirements specific to PVC/HDPE manufacturing, including the enforcement of policies and procedures.
• Maintain health and safety standards within the PVC/HDPE production department and communicate relevant protocols to all staff.
• Implement best practices and facilitate the Kaizen program to foster continuous improvement in PVC/HDPE manufacturing.
• Oversee performance management processes for staff within the PVC/HDPE production department, linking individual goals to team objectives.
• Maintain motivation among staff through fair and consistent enforcement of the code of conduct.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of production-related matters.
• Communicate significant information to relevant stakeholders and acknowledge achievements or issues impacting the business and teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction for PVC/HDPE manufacturing operations, overseeing day-to-day activities while collaborating with the management team to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment with the 2024 strategy.
• Focus on generating cash flow through effective financial planning and asset utilization within PVC/HDPE production.
• Maximize the value of assets by ensuring proper maintenance and utilization within the PVC/HDPE production department.
• Establish and enforce controls to optimize working capital, fostering collaboration among the management team to achieve specific targets.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is completed, displayed, and accessible to staff within the PVC/HDPE production department, with enforcement through supervision at all levels.
• Foster communication channels and IT systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and uphold company core values within PVC/HDPE manufacturing.
• Strive for world-class standards in PVC/HDPE manufacturing operations, continuously improving based on Kaizen and QHSE standards.
• Utilize performance appraisals for staff development and improvement purposes within PVC/HDPE production.
• Implement and maintain IT systems and communication channels to ensure access to real-time data for PVC/HDPE manufacturing.
• Enforce policies immediately within PVC/HDPE production, while also implementing rewards and recognition initiatives.
• Share checklists with the management team to ensure accountability and oversight specific to PVC/HDPE manufacturing.
