ACTIVITIES

• To have a thorough knowledge of IMCA code of practice for Diving and ROV
• To be aware of Company/Project Rules and Specifications, international norms, and standards, applying them to the Project
• To supervise and control offshore activities by SURF Contractor from the Diving Construction Vessel, ensuring compliance with agreed procedures, project specifications, TotalEnergies' General Specifications, discipline requirements, and international norms and standards
• To ensure daily activities on the vessel align with the planned schedule
• To participate in daily coordination meetings with SURF Contractor
• To act as RSES/RSES-D onboard the installation vessel to ensure proper compliance with procedures and emergency response
• To report progress and concerns to the SURF Operation Manager through daily reports and calls, and proactively address offshore operational issues
• To support the SURF Operation Manager in anticipating the need for Contractor personnel and MWS onboard
• To manage interfaces between MWS and SURF Contractor on the vessel
• To ensure timely completion of relevant certificates/checklists and maintain traceability tables onboard
• To lead the COMPANY team on the vessel and uphold document confidentiality

Accountabilities

• Ensure COMPANY HSE standards are met on the Diving Construction vessel and participate in hazard assessments
• Review and oversee IMCA DESIGN audit and diving equipment audits
• Verify divers' certificates and supervision levels, and check contingency plans and emergency procedures
• Supervise adherence to procedures during vessel mobilization and offshore activities at B17/GIRASSOL Marine Restricted Area
• Ensure compliance with procedures, manage changes, raise Down Graded Situations (DGS) if necessary, and sign specific certificates
• Coordinate with onshore support, communicate with COMPANY Representatives and FPSO RSES as needed
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between MWS, SURF Contractor, and other vessels at the work site
• Compile daily reports and submit Fiche de liaison to FPSO RSES
• Lead the COMPANY supervision team on the vessel

Professional Experience (years): a minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore diving industry

Experience in similar position (years): over 5 years of project supervision related to SURF Offshore Diving activities, including recent Saturation Diving project participation

IMCA CPD up to date Level/Diploma: IMCA Saturation Dive supervisor or Saturation diver with experience; IMCA air diving supervisor option with Saturation diving experience mandatory
