Duties & Responsibilities
FIXED TERM 36 MONTHS
Supervision and execution of multiple Non-Destructive Testing techniques to ascertain conditioning monitoring of components as directed by Management. Report findings within approved formats ensuring compliance with Oceaneering procedures.
Functions
ESSENTIAL
§ To provide support to the NDT Management Team/Project Manager in providing an efficient service to clients
§ To supervise the day-to-day utilization of NDT personnel as required
§ To ensure all operations are carried out in a safe, efficient and most cost-effective manner by qualified personnel in accordance with approved procedures
§ To ensure productivity of operations is always maintained
§ Carry out site visits to monitor technicians safe working practices
§ Carry out site audits where required
§ To deliver safety briefings prior to work being undertaken
§ Carry out toolbox talks as and when required and maintain attendance register accordingly
§ Ensure equipment is used correctly, safely and is in good condition
§ Visit workplace for radiography both on site and off site to carry out work assessments
§ Submit (where applicable) HSE or regulatory notifications for site radiography
§ Ensure client requirements are always met
§ Liaise with clients on any issues and advise on any suggestions for improvements where necessary
§ Notify appropriate personnel of any issues or concerns arising from inspection results
§ Liaise with Client, Plant Inspectors and Corrosion Engineers as necessary
§ Evaluate results of the test in accordance with applicable specification
§ Ensure that non-conformances are being recorded and reported to the Project manager
§ Produce a clear and concise report detailing the methods used in and results of the inspection
§ Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires
§ Offshore medical, BOSIET / Offshore Survival certification
§ Confined Space Entry training
§ Mentoring and coaching of host country nationals.
§ Supervising of new or trainee technicians while carrying out site work activities.
NON-ESSENTIAL
§ The list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive.

§ Undertake specific project tasks as instructed by management.

Ensure that personnel identify with and achieve, the necessary Health and Safety performance standards associated with the relative risks to personnel and plant in their environment and daily work
Ensure that business and HSE risk implications of integrity issues are clearly identified and assessed for consideration within the Oceaneering Integrity Management Team and communicated to the Client
Other
Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has supervisory responsibilities. You will be expected to lead, supervisor and coordinate NDT activities. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work. Ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements and supporting Management for all NDT related activities.

REQUIRED
§ PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - RT - level 2 - Radiographic Testing. (Conventual, Digital, Real Time)
§ PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - UT - level 2 - Ultrasonic Testing.
§ PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - ET - level 2 - Eddy Current Testing.
§ PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - MT - level 2 - Magnetic Particle Testing.
§ PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - PT - level 2 - Dye/Liquid Penetrant Testing.
§ PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - VT - level 2 - Visual Inspection
§ Offshore medical, BOSIET / Offshore Survival certification
§ Confined Space Entry training
NOTE: Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certificate and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position.
DESIRED
§ PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - level 3 in an NDT qualification
§ PMI Certification
§ IR Level 1
§ Radiographic Interpretation and UT TKY are a plus
§ IRATA Level 1 or 2 – Rope Access
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
§ High School Diploma or the equivalent (E).
§ Fluent in English reading, writing (E).
§ Minimum 5 years' experience in corrosion monitoring / mapping. (E).
§ Minimum 5 years' experience in NDT inspection in the Oil and Gas Industry. (E).
§ Minimum 5 years, experience in EC crack and detection. (E).
§ Digital Radiographic Testing are a plus. (P)
§ Real Time Radiographic Testing are a plus. (P)
§ Familiar with QA/QC systems/procedures and NDT techniques. (P)
§ Demonstrated experience on piping and pressure vessels inspection and repair procedures. (E).
§ Ability to interpret engineering drawings. (E).
§ Good understanding of corrosion mechanisms and monitoring (P)
§ Working knowledge of metallurgy (P)
§ Previous experience of coaching and mentoring (P).
§ Proficient in Word, Excel, and Windows based programs (E)
§ Gives and receives constructive feedback while coaching and mentoring activities.
§ Good communicator both written and verbal (E)
