- This role will require you to deal frequently with the local Angolan banks.
- You have a strong knowledge of the Angolan tax laws and export regulations
- Ensure accurate and complete bookkeeping, including general accounting, payables & receiveables , fixed assets & cost accounting
- You are able to lead and motivate a team of accounting professionals
- Working effectively with the Finance Director and the leadership teams on implementing financial strategies to reduce manufacturing costs
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including budget forecasts and can present it to the executive team
- Responsible for ensuring all the current accounting and tax standards for the company are in compliance with the Angolan jurisdictions The Successful Applicant You bring 5 years of working experience as a Chief Accountant in an FMCG or food manufacturing industry, preferably in Angola
Strong knowledge of commercial, import and business taxation laws & regulations in Angola is required
Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance is preferred
Excellent fluency in English & Portuguese is mandatory
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel is a bonus
