Felizardo EPALANGA

Is leading the process of founding and 
registering of “Plataforma Construindo Pontes in Africa”. After years working for the Angola Open Society Foundation (OSFA) office as a Media and Communication Projects Officer, he oversaw all grants for the Foundation's Media & Communication program in Angola. Before joining OSFA in August 2008, he spent a year at the Office of the 
High Commissioner for Human Rights in Angola, serving as a Human Rights Assistant. 
He worked at the non-governmental organization Development 
Workshop as a Finance Officer in the then Peacebuilding Program, where 
he focused on budgeting, processing and disbursement, monitoring and 
evaluation, reporting and managing donor funds. Prior to that, he was a 
Project Officer for the Elavoko Project and the PrePaRe Project at the Baptist Convention of Angola. He has also worked as a Field Officer with the International Committee of the Red Cross in the emergency program and with the International Organization for Migration's Department of Operations in the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Program. Pioneered local philanthropic work to promote peace and human rights in the provinces of Benguela and Huambo and served as vice-president of the steering committee of the OMUNGA Association for a period of 4 years. He was also on the board of the Coalition for Peace in Africa of the Southern Africa Secretariat, an African network of peacebuilders whose aim is to advance peace, justice, human rights and 
development through capacity building, research and advocacy.
