I am a driven and committed engineer with significant experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. I excel with large projects and complex tasks requiring ‘’outside-the-box’’ thinking and problem solving. I work well in teams (whether as a team member or team leader) while I am also capable of operating independently for extended periods.
I am particularly interested in working in multicultural environments and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems engineering; atmosphere-controlled environments, cooling systems (fans, ducts), hydraulic installations (piping, pumps and related valve control systems), air and vacuum compressors.

I am a mechanical engineer since 2017 from ISPTEC (Angola) and UMinho univercity (Portugal). I have
been working with H/AVAC systems (cooling, ventilation and air conditioning) and building hydraulic for 6
years now. In this period, i have been involved in the various stages of a hvac system project, hydraulic and
more recently with network installations for medicinal gas facilities. These steps run from the study and
dimensioning phase, budgetting, autocad 2D modeling, submission and supply of equipment and materials, cost
control, work management/direction and related teams, to the equipment commissioning phase.
 Area of interest: cooling plants, hydraulic installations, pumping plants,
fans, compressors, autonomous direct and indirect expansion air conditioning units (chiller, vrv/vrf systems,
split's), atmosphere-controlled environments/rooms/zones, management of electromechanical installations.
Main functions and responsibilities:
 Guide projects to compliance with general objectives: Delivery, Budget, Quality and Safety;
 Technical Requirements definition to be included in the proposals to the Clients;
 Close follow-up of design process, to get the best design, with the quality required, in a cost-effective
way, timely manner;
 Participation in tender process, technical documentation preparation and bid analysis;
 Coordinate design issues, giving specific professional support to Project “owner” action, to meet with
technical requirements and best practices.
 Close follow-up and supervision of construction process;
 Promote coordination, identify areas for improvement, share experience, knowledge, and
harmonization between projects;
 Propose, implement and chases work best-practices and procedures;
Duties/Responsibilities:
 Provides expertise and guidance on cooling, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in different
phases of a HVAC system development: design, construction, tests and commissioning, warranty;
 Duct and piping field studies on HVAC facilities; identifies, recommends, and tests strategies to solve
problems and concerns;
 Researches and proposes expansion, upgrades, and/or necessary maintenance work required to maintain
and improve infrastructure;
 Determines appropriate materials and equipment required for projects and facilities including choosing
and comparing different types of HVAC systems, cooling, heating, ventilation, air conditioning
(HVAC), refrigeration, and plumbing, pumps, pipes, conduits, …;
 Reviewing drawings and schematics to verify that they meet industry standards and are technically
accurate;
 Preparing detailed estimates of project costs, including labor requirements and material costs;
 Provides definition of HVAC interaction with BMS / GTC systems, and interact efficiently with other
specialties: Hydraulics and electrical;
 Evaluates the energy efficiency of buildings and designing energy efficient systems for them;
 Conducts energy audits to identify opportunities for energy conservation and recommending solutions;
